So like...last week I saw Dragonball and I was gonna write a geeky review on it, but then I forgot.
Basically, it raped my childhood and I can't take it back even after years of therapy and counseling.
The only thing good that came out of this was that little white boys can dress up as Goku now without all the Asian kids in their neighbourhood at Halloween heckling them. That's a huge universal problem you know. White kids are such posers.

I'm not even going to try and be funny. It was just bad.
I don't even know what compelled me to see it. I mean...maybe for a laugh?
I wasn't laughing...I was crying.

p.s. Who else wanted to punch Bulma?
p.p.s. Who else wanted to punch the whole movie?

You know my thoughts on it, but I comment anyhow.
And just cuz it's japanese doesn't mean everyone in it has to be asian, yaknow. I mean sure, there should be SOME asians, but Goku's an alien. Aliens can be english. Maybe he should've been russian. I just don't get why he'd be intelligent, like you said. But again, it's just a movie trying desperately to seem 'cool' to the newer generation and failing in every conceivable way.

the moment i heard about the fact that there was a movie i knew it would either be shitting gold or suck horribly.

now i realise it was the latter because these problems were in the movie:
A: goku is not asian, nor an alien
B: goku was not a kid when he started training
C: dragon balls dont cast wishes, instead bring horror upon everyone
D: goku's master isnt a perv

i could go on.

80's: Dragon Ball.
90's: Dragon Ball Z.
2000's: Dragon Ball movie.

The fact that him and 90% of the cast was white really made me disappointed. I liked him and all and his extremely veiny forehead, but really, if he were Asian, I would have been ecstatic.
